Old habits are hard to break and I consider how one behaves around others and their own social practices something of a habit. I was a very shy person for most of my life and I went through school and really didn't become more outgoing until late in college. Most men, when approached by a woman, are very straightforward and if extended an invitation to go have a coffee (or something like that) after you have started talking to them, will respond in kind. I can tell you that men don't pick up on really subtle hints and signs and I think this is what most women don't understand. Also, remember: it's perfectly normal for females to initiate contact now. In fact, a lot of guys ume that most women are already taken so just casually start talking to a man that you have some potential interest in. my dad has looked at all of those cars and ended up with a 2005 carrera S. the carrera can do 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, therefore it is a lot faster than both the m3 and the g35. one thing about the porsche is that its not really comfortable at all compared to both the infiniti and the bmw. i myself have a bmw and the ride in my car is much smoother than the ride in the porsche. at the same time, the porsche is much more expensive than either the g35 or the m3.

Binary Translater Question?

I am new to binary (obviously) but am curious when I go on a binary translater search into google and it pops up i encode the binary equivelent for 1 it decodes and tells me the binary would be 00110001 shouldn't it be 00000001 not what i said before or is it somehow split up into nibbles (4 bits) a like 0011 0001 and the 0001 would be equivalent to 1 also if i type in 120 then it turns up as 00110001 00110010 00110000 wouldn't 120 just be 8 bits not 32 binary is confusing me because every where i look it seems people are doing it differently also a side question if a computer is 64 bits that means it can work with 8 bytes at a time does this mean numbers can be part of any of these bytes like a large number being represented by 2+ bytes or can a number or character only be represented by 1 byte so it can only have 2 to the eighth power possibilities so what im saying is could a 64 bit computer calculate 2,8,4,6,3,8,3,7 at a time or would it be possible for a computer to calculate/process a large number like 1212121092039223483 by combining the 64 bits (i hope you understand what im saying

Helping my cousin with depression?

Girl....sounds like a big problem.....she needs her family's support. She needs to go out...see the sun. My aunt has fibermialga and depression...but we try to keep her busy....and are always happy to see her and make her feel loved. That disease can wear someone out. Ice hockey goalie pad question?

So ive been playing goalie since i was 4 and im 13. I play midget 16u AA, even though i should be a bantam. Im very good(not to be conceited). i bought a pair of vaughn v3 7400's. they are 34" +1". im 5'8". They fit fine however in erfly the pucks always get under the left pad. I believe its because they over-rotate and the inside of the pad actually comes off the ice. I wear them fairly loose, the straps dont touch my leg, only the knee locker strap does. any suggestions?

I have one, i dont know why that guy is bashing toyota, they make decent vehicles. I would recommend the car, the only complaints i could think of would be fuel efficiency (its good but not the best) and the size (but its decently big for a coupe). I love the look and its more powerful than other options in its price range, with more options for the price (for example, sunroof and alloy rims come standard). some parts are cheap but in all its a good car.

nope, you're right :) malaysian driftwood does sink unlike standard driftwood. it's also a lot prettier haha anyways, you can try boiling the driftwood to open up the "pores" and let out all the tanins before putting it in your aquarium, or you can continually soak the driftwood for a week. just empty out the water every time it gets discolored. boiling might smell up your house with a not so nice odor...and you have to boil for like a couple of hours. people have boiled it a whole day, so yea...umm i don't think the driftwood would dramatically change your ph but it may lower it a little i think...and goldfish could really care less haha as long as there's nothing pointy sticking out they should be okay. the moss should work as a carpet and cushion if they bump into the driftwood. goldfish are so clumbsy...>.<...well i hope i helped!

I would recommend books, or some real cles, or a mentor who is in the field. Some of the better CompTIA A+ study guides will help you get the basics all around, and you can get your certification to boot. Computer science is a complicated field, and unfortunately, like anything else, you have people who know it, and people who think they know it, try not to learn from the latter.

New to cruises - need help choosing!?

I just came back from a cruise. It was a 7 day western caribbean cruise with Carnival. I like carnival because they are cheap and fun. The only downside is there tends to be quite a few kids around. This doesn't bother me much coz they tend to be in the pool most of the time which I don't do when on a cruise. A more adult oriented cruise line is Royal Caribean cruise line but I think they tend to be more expensive. I would suggest Carnival. I'm interested in making the patterns that go onto fabrics, not the actual fabrication of the material. Textile and Fiber Arts majors tend to focus on things like weaving, embroidery, color dying, etc, which I'm not interested in. I don't want to make the fabric or actually put patterns onto fabric, I want to design the patterns. What kind of degree is necessary to make the designs that go on fabrics, wallpaper, wrapping paper, homegoods, etc? If you were designing the fabric for a handbag, would you work for the design house brand that makes the bag, or would you work for some sort of fabric company that the designer would approach? I think graphic design would be somewhat related, and I've taken some cles in this, but most graphic design programs tend to involve a lot of things that wouldn't be related to fabric patterns such as advertising, fonts, page layout, etc.

Crock pot Pot Roast---help?

I need some help. I am making a pot roast in my crockpot for tomorrows dinner. I really wanted to cook it for a day or so but my husband bought only a 2.76 pound bottom round rump roast (I think an entire day 24 hours would be too long for this weight). If he is only 9 months old, he might not have seen a jacket before and didn't understand why you were suddenly making funny noises. Also, if your jacket was making noise when you were trying to put the blanket on, that might have been 'scary' for him. So, he might be a little wary because you were not making noise, then you did, then you didn't.

A little over a year ago, Elin was forced by her new roommates to give up 'Papa'. She came to us, asking if we wanted to take him, saying that if not, she'd have to find another home for him. We took him gladly and have been his caretakers since that time. Emily, my roommate, has since taken over the majority of the caregiving for 'Papa', cleaning his box, buying him toys, providing food, etc. Paul and I have helped, too (mostly on a monetary level -- and with love), but she's really been his primary caretaker for a little over a year now. Elin has been by our apartment dozens of times for social visits ('Papa' never being the primary reason for the visit) and has not provided funds for food, litter, or anything during this time. It's also important to note that at the time we took 'Papa', there was no paperwork involved and no expectations put on the situation that Elin would ever take 'Papa' back... This is where it gets tricky. Paul and I are now breaking up and I'm moving out of our apartment. During the last year, Emily has created a real bond with 'Papa' and does not want to give him up. I'm not in a position to take him with me to my new apartment and would rather he stayed with someone who REALLY wanted him anyway. Since Elin has caught wind of this, she has made it known that she wants 'Papa' back. Unfortunately, Emily is now unwilling to part with him. My question is...what legal claim do either of them have to ownership of the cat? I am a novice golfer and I need help.?

I have been playing golf for almost 4 months and I have a major problem to deal with. It sounds extremely stupid but it is so true. When I practice all alone I do fantastic. I can hit my driver 300 yards and hit all my irons very well. When I practice or play in front of any type of audience I am PATHETIC. I know it's probably because I try to hard and try to swing too hard but I end up shanking or slicing every single ball I hit. I mean I was just hitting my 7 iron about 75 yards out and 40 yards to the right on my slice. I don not know what to do. I have tried to relax as much as possible and just focus on the ball but it does not work. Like I said, when I practice all by myself I play very well but when I am even in front of 2 people I cant play worth a darn. It is not because I am afraid of people or anything. I am studying to be a news reporter and I love being on camera and talking to people so I know it's nothing crazy like I am just afraid of people. This only happens when I play. If anyone can help me at all I would greatly appreciate it. I have even had thoughts of quitting because I get so frustrated about this problem. I don't think the divorce is final until it's been recorded. That usually doesn't happen immediately, but you could always ask. Maybe in some states it would work. Try for more fiber - whole grains and veggies, beans. More fiber keeps you full longer and on less food. Absoultely no sugar, and cut all high calorie drinks - pop, juice, fancy coffees, etc. I know people who lost 10 pounds cutting our pop and diet pop alone! Weight loss is 80% food and only 20% exercise.

What to do about my roommate?

I have a roommate that ive been living with for 3 months. The 1st day I moved in was Superbowl day, and he asked to borrow my HDTV.....okay. He always talked sh*t to me about another roommate that we have and then is nice to him when the other roommate is around. His one "pet peev" is cleaning up the dishes in the house..So, for the first few weeks I was doing everyone's dishes that were left in the sink and emptying the dishwasher.Try and follow what im saying bc this guy is a huge do*che. Well, one day I had a friend come over and my friend took a crap in the bathroom that my roommate and I share. He tried to flush it and i guess the toilet got clogged and it was laying in there all night. My roommate saw it and flushed it down and started leaving his urine in the toilet for 2 weeks straight I guess to "get back" at me instead of talking to me about it. Being the bigger man, I went into his room and asked what his problem was? He said he was pissed off about the toilet and he told me that he told his girlfriend to leave urine in there. I told him not to hold grudges and talk to me next time. He said we were cool and he wont do it anymore. So, I wanted to see if someone else in the house would start doing my dishes and the dishwasher. So, I start leaving dishes in the sink. My roommate did his dishes and would throw my dishes to the side for me to do. So, I just left more in there. A couple of days later, he writes a note on the fridge telling me and my roommate to "do our f*cking dishes". I did them and that was that. At this point I was starting to become very pissed off at my roommate. He started using my shampoo in the shower and never asked once. I have short hair and there is no reason for shampoo and conditioner to go that fast. So, I took all of my toiletries out of the bathroom and started leaving them in my room. Guess what? He does the same thing and takes the toilet paper that he bought out of the bathroom too. I always hear him and his gf talking crap about me through our thin walls. One night, he threw a party and I went up to my room and locked the door so no one would go in. When I was leaving, his trashy fake gf says hi to me on my way out the door. I ignore her completely and walk outside and she runs to her bf and says "he ignored me!". The next morning I came back home and sat at my computer. An hour later I hear him come home and he takes out his keys to unlock the door to his room. Why would he start locking his door? How did he know that I started doing it unless he's being going into my room? So, I start leaving dishes in the sink to get back at this f*cker and one day he flips out on me. I told him to go f*ck himself and I have no respect for him. Now, he talks through his wall about me to his "friends" on the phone so I can hear him. He took all of the toilet paper and paper towels out of the house so I wont use them. Even now as im talking to you, I can hear him and his gf complaining about me. I thought about kicking his a** but im sure he would call the cops. So, im thinking about taking him to an octagon or something and beating the crap out of him in the ring. Any other suggestions about what I should do? Ive already tried to be the bigger man, but he holds grudges when I do something he doesnt like and does something to spite me. Im getting really tired of this a**hole. But, he moves out next month. :)

Starting your next pack right away is not going to do anything except possibly stop you from having you period at all. It will not stop you from being pregnant if you are and it will not stop you from becoming pregnant. If you are not on an antibiotic and you have taken the pill EVERYDAY as you say you have then you should be absolutely fine. When you first start BC it can take a few months to have your periods become regulated. Just calm down and wait a few more days and I'm sure it will come. Also, if becoming pregnant is absolutely the worst thing you could ever imagine happening to you then you need to think about using a backup method such as condoms just to double protect yourself.

Is It Food Posioning?

Two days ago around mid afternoon I began to feel tired, sore, and nasuaus. I was barely able to function I felt so ucky. I slept for almost all of the next day and once I snacked on small foods like tortillas and veggies I felt better, yet continued to have a headache that no OTC pain reliever could cure and neck soreness. I researched and found that I most likely caught food poisoning. Now I'm wondering if that's really the case. It's now been 3 days and the headache is gone but the neck soreness is still there and without any triggers or onset after a small dinner (mashed potatoes and a roll) I vomited everything I had ate for dinner not even 10 minutes after finishing. I've restricted myself to clear liquids and juices as if it were food posioning still but I'm wondering if maybe my self diagnosis is wrong. I felt pretty much normal minus the neck pain today and while eating wasn't bothered yet still fell Ill after eating minimal amounts of food. My friend jokes that I may be pregnant but all of my periods have been normal and on time, as well as I am also on birth control. Any insight on this situation would be of great help!

Anything to know about studded snow tires?

Why is my refrigerator warm at the top and in the middle?

Also, food has thawed and the ice is melting on top of the freezer side. The food at the bottom of the freezer is frozen and food at the bottom of the refrigerator is cold. This 1st happened about 2 weeks ago. There was ice built up on the bottom of the freezer. I unplugged the refrigerator overnight and left the doors open to defrost my frost-free fridge. When I turned it on, it started working again, even the ice maker. Now it's warming up again. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thank you.

Compact fridge manual defrost push on problem!?

So I currently have a Danby compact fridge DCR34BL and it has a push on manual defrost. i think i accidentally pressed the defrost on and the only way to have it pop out is to go through the whole defrost process!! the manual provides a shortcut: to apply hot dishcloth onto the capillary line. i did that and the defrost on refuses to pop out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone can help me? please????? im desperate!

Transplant it into another, larger pot with drainage and some decent well composted potting soil. Trim it back, especially where it is dead. Don't worry, it will come back and give it a boost with some organic fertilizer. Mine do like moist soil conditions, so don't neglect it. The ges in the can are compressed to the point they become liquid, even thought they usually evaporate before leaving the can i wouldnt worry about that, but the sparks could cause some damage, the computer must be unplugged from the wall socket and left about two minutes to discharge before cleaning (it can be also discharged by pressing the power on few times after un-plugging from the wall), otherwise the liquid or whatever else gets inside can cause short circuits, sparks and damage to computer components. Well, now that this is clear i`d just wait and see if some problems occur.

Why is it that only western comics make successful movies, while eastern ones like Manga don't?

I noticed through out the 90s all the way up into today, comic/graphic novel adapted movies from the Western hemisphere- from the US (mostly) or Great Britain usually become big hits or cult clics while ones from Japan never get wide release spreads or get critically panned if they're live action (ex: the Guyver, Dragon Ball Evolution). I mean if you look what's been playing- Thor, Green Lantern, Xmen, they become Block Buster hits. Japan's 2nd most successful anime "Howl's Moving Castle" isn't even based off a Manga, its a British Graphic Novel. So what I'm getting at is are comics and Graphic Novels better than Manga? It seems so because of all the movies and high sales of comics. Even if the movie doesn't become a Block Buster Hit, it eventually becomes a cult clic- EX: The Punisher, or even the crappy Scott Pilgrim Vs the World.

I adopted a (formerly) stray cat a couple weeks ago and he adapted to my apartment perfectly. He always uses his litter box, which is filled with regular clumping litter. Bankruptcy after graduating with overbearing college loan debt?

Here's the deal.. I know I'm going to graduate with loans that I will be paying off well past retirement. There are a lot of things I want to do in my life and paying for the overpriced cost of my education will no doubt keep a tether on many aspirations. Supposedly, the only conditions that will allow repayment to be terminated are either death or bankruptcy. What's to keep me from filing for bankruptcy? Are there qualifications to be met? Why is it not a common thing? My dad filed for bankruptcy and he was back on his feet in less than a year. Do the negatives outweigh the positives? If not, how can I fake my own death?
