My business is a general partnership. We are bringing along a third member. What is best now llc, or corp?

Me and my best friend started an email marketing business. We need an SEO guy to help generate sales, so we are bringing him and and splitting profits three ways. Do we need to now turn the business into a LLC or something different? What are our options? Thanks
