I wanted to become an actress until Spencer and Heidi scared me. Help?

I don't know if what they did was because they needed money or something and could get it from the media or whatever (probably like how paris and nicole became enemies purely to get attention and then became friends again) so maybe this is a set up? but idk it seems real from the way lauren conrad acted in her interviews. although, she was able to hide some things well like saying The Hills wasn't scripted and Kristin Cavallari basically said it was by hesitating to say no. Are a lot of people like this in hollywood? Backstabbers? I hope not. people seemed so nice like dakota fanning and the olsen twin and angelina jolie, etc. I don't want to go into acting if people would do that.
