Ice hockey goalie pad question?

So ive been playing goalie since i was 4 and im 13. I play midget 16u AA, even though i should be a bantam. Im very good(not to be conceited). i bought a pair of vaughn v3 7400's. they are 34" +1". im 5'8". They fit fine however in erfly the pucks always get under the left pad. I believe its because they over-rotate and the inside of the pad actually comes off the ice. I wear them fairly loose, the straps dont touch my leg, only the knee locker strap does. any suggestions?
