Why should a man have to pay for all of the 1st few dates ? Isnt he paying to get2know her ?

I mean when people 1st started dating, they are STRANGERS right ? They dont know if the other person is worth long term time, right ? Why shouldnt they pay for there own entertainment/food/etc for the 1st few dates, just enjoy each others personality and see if they even mesh ? .... I understand women might feel...foreign about this subject but theirs not a much worst feeling then, SPENDING MONEY HARD WORKING $$$ ON SOME CHICK, WHO WHILE ON THE DATE , YOU KNOW YOU DONT WANNA SEE HER ANYMORE......now times that by at least 15 women a year....thats what the average guy goes through.... I mean that 1st phone call and date, everything could be cool BUT you still dont really know the person. So is it to much ask , for you to pay your part of the date and ill pay mine until we get a REAL GRASP on who were talking to (about date4). I mean women do this with , why not with money with men ?..... I sincerely think majority of men hate/despise paying for the first 3_4 dates, because really its a gamble. The chick probably will show she wrong for you after date 2 ( wasted $ and time) which is the majority (men or women) or she/he could show that they are your type ( which is a rarity)...Now ladies, dont get me wrong I love to spoil my girl like crazy.......keyword MY GIRL....not every girl, dumb broke guys do that...... ANyways , what do yall think of this subject. Thanks for answering !!!!! BTW: What is this BS about girls should never have to pay on a date because they pay allot of money to look good !?!?!? I find that deceiving and condescending ...You really buy a new dress, get a fresh hairdo, buy new makeups, shoes everytime you go on a date.....LIKE YOU DONT ALREADY HAVE THAT DONE, like men dont have to get a haircut and present ourselves good. women stop with the lame excuses.
