HAS ANYONE MADE A LIVING OUT OF POETRY ?

personally I don't think you can, but I may be wrong ? is it a question of who you know ? not what you know ?... How do you get into the social world of established poets ? Do you have to be Upper cl ? Is it a closed shop a social network of Upper cl people ? I know I'm not talented I just love poetry and write for fun and relaxation Plus it helps me with my DYX .....How Meany of you would like to make a living out of your poems .... ? Me just being nosey
