My late husband was being held "captive" in his ex-wife's home and the Duluth Police Department refused?
to do a welfare check on him after I received a phone call from the Social Security office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota advising me that a woman arrived in their office with a frail man (my late husband) saying she was me, stealing my Social Security ID, and stating we were legally separated. She scammed my husband for additional SS benefits under my SS#, left him with no money or foodstamps at his brother's in Sioux Falls, and the Duluth Police Department (Duluth is where she resided and where my husband was visiting his granddaughter, referred to me as a jilted wife and a negligent wife and even after my State representative requested the istance of the Chief of Police, they still repeated this prejudice. What is their responsibility in this situation. I reside in Ohio and am disabled and care for my stepson who has myotonic dystrophy. There is much more to this, but I believe the police department obstructed justice and treated me with prejudice based on age, , and race and cannot get Minneapolis 311 to help me. What say you?
